Emil Rofors

Emil is a research scientist with the Applied Nuclear Physics program. He’s a drone-racing physicist who develops algorithms and methods to aid in both mobile and stationary radiation detection and imaging systems. Emil is developing simulation tools to test and optimize algorithms before deploying them in the field. During his PhD he specialized in novel, fast technologies for thermal neutron detection for the European Spallation Source that is currently under construction in Lund, Sweden.
