Inspiring and educating the scientists of tomorrow is a key part of Nuclear Science’s mission. We host undergraduate interns each year and have mentored numerous graduate students. Among their wide variety of impressive futures, many have joined the ranks of our postdoctoral researchers and some have gone on to Berkeley Lab staff positions. We also engage in outreach to the general public, most notably by hosting the annual Nuclear Science Day for Scouts.
