I am a physicist with diverse interests, including studies of ultra-peripheral collisions (photonuclear and two-photon interactions) of relativistic ions with the ALICE experiment at CERNs Large Hadron Collider, studies of exclusive interactions for the proposed U. S. electron-ion collider and neutrino astronomy and neutrino interactions with the IceCube detector at the South Pole. I am mostly an experimentalist, but have also done work in phenomenology in areas related to these experiments. I also have a long-term interest in instrumentation, especially at the interface between detectors and front end electronics.
